PERSEPSI BUDI PEKERTI DAN PENYIMPANGANNYA DARI PARA PESERTA DIDIK
Lately we were surprised by the many cases performed by school children, such as murder, bullying, sexual harassment, and lains forth. Referring to the purpose of education in Indonesia, character education is a compulsory charge of the curriculum in Indonesia, however, the result was still far from expectations due only to the cognitive level. Children know what is called a noble character, but do not get in on the affective and psychomotor aspects. This is the importance of planting character models that involve cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Ki Hadjar Dewantara has developed a model of planting manners involving cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. Ki Hadjar taught that education not only as a process of knowledge transfer, but also the transfer of values, norms, skills, and expertise (Dewantara, 1967). This study aims to identify the implementation of planting manners in school and family as well as violations of manners that occurred at several schools in Yogyakarta. The methods used are observation, and interviews. The results show that the cultivation of character has been done, but the system according to the teachings of Ki Hadjar Among Dewantara not been conducted entirely by teachers. This is indicated by the evidence obtained from the results of observation, interviews with the students.
