MODEL PENGUKURAN SIKAP GURU MATEMATIKA TERHADAP MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA (Guru Matematika SMP Negeri di DIY)

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) know the tendency of junior high schools mathematics teachers’ attitudes in the Special District of Yogyakarta toward mathematics course, (2) Look for the number of load factors of each construct toward attitude variables and each manifest toward the construct, and (3) know the measurement model of mathematics teachers’ attitudes toward mathematics course.
The research population was all junior high school mathematics teachers in the Special District of Yogyakarta. The number of research samples
was 306 mathematics teachers along with the proportional random sampling technique to use. The research instrument was a questionnaire, and data analysis techniques were SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) commonly called CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and descriptive statistics.
The research results showed that (1) the tendency ofjunior high school mathematics teachers’ attitudes in the Special District of Yogyakarta toward mathematics course was moderate; (2) the load factor of basic attitudes toward mathematics course was 0.98 and the attitude toward mathematics learning was 0.97, and both factors were able to reflect the variable of mathematics teachers’ attitudes toward mathematics course; (3) the measurement mcdel of mathematics teachers’ attitudes toward mathematics course (attitudest viewed from the construct of basic attitude toward mathematics (mathematics) and attitude toward mathematics learning (learning) was stated as follows.
